Crimewave celebrates the release of his debut album SCENES with a launch party at N/OM.

After a year performing alongside Kim Gordon, George Clanton, and Machinedrum, Jake Wilkinson (aka Crimewave) delivers his first full-length on New York’s Fool’s Gold Records.

Out November 7, SCENES is a conceptual dance record rooted in Northern UK nightclubs, exploring the subtle criminal acts and misdemeanours that go almost unnoticed with these spaces.

Mastered by Rainy Miller, the project is conceived as a continuous DJ set, with tracks bleeding seamlessly into the next,  where glitched guitars, strobing chords, and fractured breaks capture both the euphoria and the the half seen acts lurking in the clubs grimy corners.
